The bond of the Wyatt Sicks is one forged in a creativity and a unique vision that few outside their circle could ever truly understand. That circle tragically lost its center, Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda), in 2023. In a touching tribute to his legacy, WWE and Universal Studios partnered to create a "Firefly Fun House" haunted house at this year's Halloween Horror Nights exhibit in Orlando. WWE has now shared an emotional video documenting the Wyatt Sicks'—Erick Rowan, Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, and Dexter Lumis—first visit to the attraction built in their mentor's honor.

The resulting video is a raw, beautiful, and heartbreaking look at a group of people processing an immense tribute to their lost friend. It captures the conflicting, overwhelming emotions of joy that Wyatt's vision is being celebrated on such a grand scale, and the profound sadness that he isn't here to see it himself. For the Wyatt Sicks, this wasn't just a theme park attraction; it was a memorial.

A Dream Fulfilled

From the moment the group arrived, the weight of the moment was palpable, especially for Erick Rowan. Also making the trip was special effects artist Jason Baker, a close friend of Wyatt's who helped bring so many of his creations to life. Baker provided the powerful context that this was a personal goal for Wyatt. "Windham really wanted to try to be a part of this event," Baker shared, "and he said, 'One day I will have a house there'".

Nikki Cross echoed that sentiment, calling the house a "dream come true". She explained that every member of the Wyatt Sicks has a deep connection to the project, "whether it be to Bray Wyatt himself, or just the horror genre".

"Cool... But It Sucks"

Erick Rowan, who was "overcome with emotion" before even entering, struggled to find the words. "Windham loved horror, man," Rowan said, holding back tears. "And for this to be happening? Like, I just want to know that he can see it". He also noted he was looking for tributes to another fallen brother, Brodie Lee, which he had heard were included.

He perfectly summarized the impossible duality of the experience: "And like to me, it's so cool - but it sucks".

"Evilly Magical"

The walk-through itself was filled with memories. As the group passed a "Firefly Fun House Cafe," Rowan shared a small, touching anecdote. "We did have catering 'cause Bray paid for it," he recalled. "Bray bought us all lunch when we were shooting the original 'Firefly Funhouse' episodes".

Inside the house, the emotion became too much to hold back. Baker and Rowan both found themselves in tears. "We're the only two guys crying in a haunted house," Baker said. Rowan, searching for the right words to describe the beautiful nightmare, landed on a perfect phrase: "Evilly Magical". Baker, looking around, added, "I miss him so much. Both of them".

As they exited, Rowan was reflective. "The first person I want to call right now is Windham. And I can't, 'cause... He ain't here". He admitted it's hard not to be emotional, even though he knows Wyatt and Lee would lovingly tease them for crying. Baker offered a final, poignant thought on what the tribute means. "Rewarding seeing all of these people come and just want to see this thing that you, and him, and Brodie gave to the world," he said. "And what he gave, he still gives".
