Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland is stepping into sneaker culture with his own Reebok collab. According to Sole Retriever, the high‑flyer will release a special colorway of the Reebok Answer 3 on May 28, priced at $160.

Design Inspiration: Killmonger Vibes

The shoe’s palette pulls straight from the Killmonger‑inspired ring gear Strickland wore at AEW Dynasty 2024 when he captured the AEW World Championship. Expect black and gold accents, a nod to both Allen Iverson’s iconic Answer line and Swerve’s Wakanda‑flavored attire.

Sole Retriever describes the design of the shoe:

A portrait of Strickland is added to the lateral heel, while the tongue tag displays his catchphrase, “Whose House?” Inside, the sockliner and tongue liner come in a black, white, and grey camo, while the interior of the tongue displays the text “Big Pressure,” a nod to Swerve’s entrance music. Finishing the sneaker is the white and gold Answer 3 midsole with Swerve branding replacing the DMX logo near the toe and a tonal rubber outsole.

Swerve’s Sneaker Game

Strickland is no stranger to footwear fandom, often sporting limited pairs on Dynamite and in music videos. This marks his first official collaboration with a major sneaker brand.

Reebok x AEW: A Growing Lineage

This is the third collaboration between Reebok and All Elite Wrestling:

  1. The Young Bucks Pump – a playful throwback to Reebok’s classic Pump line.
  2. Brodie Lee Tribute Sneaker – honoring the late Dark Order leader.
  3. Swerve Strickland Answer 3 – the first collab tied to Iverson’s signature line.

Each project widens AEW’s presence in sneaker culture while giving Reebok fresh exposure to wrestling’s passionate fanbase. Today’s partnership shows that Swerve’s house isn’t confined to the ring—and that Reebok sees serious value in the AEW audience.
