The cast of the highly anticipated new summer blockbuster, Superman, is set to make a special appearance on this week's landmark 300th episode of AEW Dynamite. In photos that have already generated considerable buzz, members of the cast were seen posing with top AEW stars.

David Corenswet, who portrays Superman, and Nicholas Hoult, who plays Lex Luthor, were photographed with Kenny Omega and MJF.

Meanwhile, Rachel Brosnahan, who plays Lois Lane, was pictured with Toni Storm.

This monumental episode of Dynamite will also feature a stacked card of matches. In a dream match for many wrestling fans, Kazuchika Okada will go one on one with Kota Ibushi. The TBS Championship will be on the line as champion Mercedes Mone defends her title against Mina Shirakawa.

Finally, four competitors will battle for a crucial advantage in the upcoming All In Casino Gauntlet match. MJF, Brody King, Anthony Bowens, and AR Fox will compete in a four-way match where the winner secures the coveted number two entry spot. While it is assumed the other three participants will still be in the Gauntlet, it is not yet clear. Hopefully, the announcers will clarify the situation on Wednesday night. With the main event able to end at any time via pinfall or submission, an earlier entry significantly increases a competitor's odds of winning.

The new Superman movie will be in theaters on July 11, 2025.

10 Wrestlers Who Landed Roles in Superhero Movies

Who on earth didn't mark out when Macho Man Randy Savage suddenly appeared as the badass 'Bonesaw' in Spiderman? "Bonesaw is ready!!!"

Superhero movies were practically built for wrestling's most legendary performers. It's true that Hulk Hogan was unable to translate his explosive in-ring success into box office gold, but performers like Jesse Ventura and Rowdy Roddy Piper did prove that wrestlers could carry major roles in action films like Predator and They Live!

At the turn of the millennium, as the Marvel and DC Universes birthed some of the most profitable film franchises of all time, wrestlers like Dave Bautista and The Rock would nab starring roles as some of cinema's most powerful heroes. In turn, long forgotten pro wrestlers would experience career rejuvenations thanks to their god-given size and ability to connect with an audience.

Whether it be 'Drax' in the multi-billion dollar franchise Guardians of the Galaxy or 'Claw' in a Hong Kong superhero sequel you've probably never heard of, we're still popping whenever a WWE favorite makes an appearance on the silver screen.

Check out these 10 wrestlers who landed roles in superhero movies in the gallery below.
