Stone Cold Steve Austin’s Cats Steal the Show on Last Week Tonight

Stone Cold Steve Austin may be one of the toughest S.O.B.'s to ever step foot in a wrestling ring, but at home? He’s a cat dad. And now, his two feline companions— Macho and Pancho — have officially made their network television debut with a shoutout on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

In the March 9th, 2025 episode, Oliver took a moment to highlight the Texas Rattlesnake’s home life, showcasing a clip of Austin lovingly introducing his cats to the world. Macho and Pancho seem to have just as much spunk as their dad used to in the ring.

There’s just something hilarious about Stone Cold, the beer-chugging, middle-finger-throwing Hall of Famer, doting on his two cats like a proud parent. Wrestling fans couldn’t get enough of it, with plenty of people joking that the only thing missing was Austin cutting a promo about his feline overlords.

But don’t get it twisted—if you so much as look at Macho or Pancho the wrong way, you might just catch a Stone Cold Stunner for your troubles.
