WrestleMania has always been a spectacle, not just for wrestling but for pop culture moments. One of the most underrated (and hilarious) examples happened at WrestleMania XI, when legendary hip-hop duo Salt-N-Pepa performed their hit song "Whatta Man," and clearly seemed to have eyes for one wrestler in particular: the Excellence of Execution himself, Bret Hart.

Salt-N-Pepa famously provided a custom version of "Whatta Man" with lyrics spotlighting the main event featuring Bam Bam Bigelow wrestling football legend Lawrence Taylor. But a photo has been passed around wrestling circles for ages that showed the duo smitten with "The Hitman."

In the lead up to WrestleMania, the Hall of Fame rap duo released a video where they were openly swooning over WWE superstars.

In the middle of a recording session, Salt says "Girl, I am in heaven. That Razor Ramon is just oozing with machismo."

Pepa quips back "Big Daddy [Cool, Diesel] come to mama."

Salt concludes "But Bret Hart, did you see him?" Pepa responds "Whatta man!"

It’s one of those classic, only-in-wrestling moments: two icons from different worlds colliding, with Bret Hart inadvertently stealing hearts as usual. Nearly three decades later, it's still hilarious to see just how charmed Salt-N-Pepa were by the Pink and Black attack.
