At SummerSlam, Naomi had a special guest for her entrance: her own father, musician Derek Mack. As her new theme music, "Last Warning," blasted through MetLife Stadium, Mack was on stage, shredding on his guitar.

He then walked down the aisle with Naomi as she made her way to the ring for her successful Women's World Title defense against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.

Mack later posed for a photo with Naomi's opponents, Rhea Ripley and Io Shirai, which Naomi posted with the caption "Oh heeeeeck no! Dad PROCEED WITH CAUTION ⚠️"

She later added, in character, "Sad I had to give him his pink slip for taking pictures with my opps ⚠️ bye dad, it was nice knowing you @derekmackband"

Who is Derek Mack?

Besides being Naomi's dad, Derek Mack is the frontman of the Derek Mack Band. The band describes itself as "South Florida’s premier Party Show band." The band's website describes their "high-energy performances and ability to play a wide variety of musical styles."

The South Florida shredder has a history of impressive gigs, having opened for legendary acts like Kool and the Gang and played with pop star Taylor Dayne.

A Familiar Face to Longtime Fans

This isn't the first time Derek Mack has appeared on WWE-related programming. Fans of the E! reality series Total Divas may remember him from a storyline involving Naomi and her husband, Jimmy Uso. During an episode, Mack and his band were in town for a performance and wanted to have an afterparty at the couple's home.

The storyline created some light-hearted tension, as Jimmy Uso was not thrilled with the idea of a late-night party at their house.
