Kieran Culkin Reveals Dream WrestleMania 41 Main Event
Kieran Culkin, best known for his role as Roman Roy on Succession, was recently asked for his opinion on the current WrestleMania main event scene outside his Broadway show in Glengarry Glen Ross. As a hardcore fan, he naturally had an interesting take.
As he signed autographs for fans after the performance, Culkin was asked about the card for WrestleMania 41 by the Mark it Down podcast. Culkin revealed that he was hoping to see CM Punk face Cody Rhodes in the main event, but added that he’s still into the prospect of Rhodes facing John Cena, noting that he is enjoying Cena’s heel turn.
When asked specifically about CM Punk facing Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Culkin remarked, "What makes that [match] amazing is any of those three could [win]."
Culkin also mentioned that while he won’t be able to make it to WrestleMania this year, he’s likely to be in attendance for SummerSlam, since the event is taking place in New Jersey.
Earlier this year, Culkin attended the Netflix debut of Raw in Los Angeles, the very night after he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his performance in A Real Pain. He even joked to CM Punk at the time that coming to Raw was how he chose to celebrate his big award win, further cementing his status as a genuine fan of the industry.
Culkin is currently starring alongside Liev Schreiber, Bill Burr, Oscar Isaac, and Ethan Hawke in Glengarry Glen Ross, which has been drawing solid reviews during its Broadway run.
WrestleMania 41 is set to take place in Las Vegas in 2025. Here's the full lineup.
