Impractical Jokers’ Sal Vulcano Names His Pro Wrestling Mount Rushmore
Sal Vulcano of the legendary prank show Impractical Jokers has a solid Mount Rushmore. The comedian and longtime wrestling fan grew up with the New Generation, but Sal also threw in some Attitude Era favorites to round out his personal Top Four.
While speaking with 15th Floor, Vulcano immediately answered the Rushmore question with 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, calling the Hot Rod one of his favorite heels of all time. The Impractical Joker also shouted out 'Macho Man' Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat as potential picks.
Moving into the Attitude Era, Vulcano named Chris Jericho as an all-time great. "How do you reinvent yourself that much and still [remain] in the forefront of the conversation?" Sal praised Y2J. He also named 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin as a possible name for his personal Mount Rushmore.
With more modern era wrestlers, Sal pondered putting John Cena and CM Punk on his Rushmore, but didn't end up giving either Superstar the nod.
So... Sal Vulcano's pro wrestling Mount Rushmore? 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, Chris Jericho and 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.
Vulcano just announced a new batch of stand-up tour dates, beginning October 24 in Portland, Oregon. Check out the full list of dates at his official website.
