In the wild world of professional wrestling, sometimes a rumor just needs the right nudge to become a reality. That seems to be exactly what's happening with Raw's powerhouse, Bron Breakker, and legendary nu-metal band Limp Bizkit.

It all started a few weeks ago during the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony when Billboard caught up with Breakker. When asked who he'd want to put a new spin on his entrance music, Bron didn't hesitate to name Limp Bizkit.

That was all it took for the internet to do its thing. A wrestling troll account on Twitter, @WestleVotes (notice the R is missing in the first word), posted a completely fabricated headline claiming that WWE had officially commissioned the band to produce a new theme for the former NXT Champion.

While the post was entirely fake, the idea caught fire and spread across social media like a wildfire. The rumor eventually made its way to the one man who could make it happen: Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst.

Commenting on a social media post that aggregated the rumor, Durst made his intentions clear. "Word has spread and the rumor has me ready to make it a reality," he wrote. "LET F’N MAKE’M BOUNCE @wwe."

A potential collaboration is a no-brainer for long-time fans. Limp Bizkit's history with WWE runs deep. The band gave a memorable live performance of "Rollin'" at WrestleMania 19 in Seattle for The Undertaker's entrance, and that very song became the iconic theme for his "American Badass" persona. Durst himself is no stranger to the product, often spotted ringside at WWE events in the L.A. area.

This isn't the first time Durst has had to publicly address a wrestling-related rumor. As reported by Loudwire back in 2012, a story spread that he was ejected from SummerSlam for flipping off the camera during the broadcast. Durst quickly shot down the gossip, explaining, “I was leaving to beat the traffic! Haha, security escorting me out?? WWE is family. hahaha. Is this really a rumor? Amazing. My boys at WWE are cracking up! Note -- never leave early to beat traffic!”

This time, however, it looks like Fred Durst isn't trying to beat the traffic. He's ready to run with a rumor and potentially give Bron Breakker a theme, and we as fans are ready to hear it!
