This past weekend at SummerSlam, the internet learned something new, and it's all thanks to social media influencer Snitchery and a very confused CM Punk.

Snitchery's Viral Post at SummerSlam

On Saturday, during night one of the massive event, Snitchery posted a video with the caption, "wrestling is all muscle mommies, where are all the baby girls?" The video then cuts to footage of CM Punk's brief but triumphant World Heavyweight Championship win, implying that he is, in fact, "babygirl." She would later double down, saying that Punk was "babygirl-coded."

CM Punk Asks the Internet for Clarification

The clip quickly went viral, so much so that it reached Punk himself, who took to social media to publicly ask, "What is babygirl coded?" As an elder millennial myself, I had a hunch, but a deep dive into a Reddit thread on the GenZ subreddit confirmed it.

To be "babygirl-coded" is a term of endearment, playfully used to describe conventionally attractive men who exhibit traditionally feminine traits such as vulnerability and sensitivity, while actively rejecting misogyny and toxic masculinity.

Punk Embraces His New Title

Once armed with this new knowledge, Punk fully embraced it. He went on to declare that Captain America is definitively "babygirl-coded," while Paul Heyman, Seth Rollins, and the recently outed CEO and HR executive caught cheating at a Coldplay concert are not.

Backstage Meeting of the Minds

The whole saga culminated in a delightful backstage meeting at night two of SummerSlam. Snitchery met with Punk, who proclaimed into her camera, "Hey, this is CM Punk and I'm babygirl coded." In a moment of perfect comedic timing, Naomi cruised by on her scooter. Punk stopped her to ask for a definition and to confirm if being "babygirl" was a good thing. Naomi immediately assured him it was, much to Punk's relief, who admitted he was worried "these young whipper snappers were making fun of me."

Snitchery's Fandom and Influence

Snitchery, a prominent social media personality and multi-disciplinary artist named Eleanor Barnes, is known for her creative and often "unhinged" costume creations and her unique perspective on beauty and fashion. She has built a large online community through her content. It was clear she is also a huge Naomi fan, as she was dressed in a tribute to the superstar. The two, along with fellow influencer @Kieraplease, even posed for a video together.

I'm glad we all learned something today!

10 Wrestlers Who Landed Roles in Superhero Movies

Who on earth didn't mark out when Macho Man Randy Savage suddenly appeared as the badass 'Bonesaw' in Spiderman? "Bonesaw is ready!!!"

Superhero movies were practically built for wrestling's most legendary performers. It's true that Hulk Hogan was unable to translate his explosive in-ring success into box office gold, but performers like Jesse Ventura and Rowdy Roddy Piper did prove that wrestlers could carry major roles in action films like Predator and They Live!

At the turn of the millennium, as the Marvel and DC Universes birthed some of the most profitable film franchises of all time, wrestlers like Dave Bautista and The Rock would nab starring roles as some of cinema's most powerful heroes. In turn, long forgotten pro wrestlers would experience career rejuvenations thanks to their god-given size and ability to connect with an audience.

Whether it be 'Drax' in the multi-billion dollar franchise Guardians of the Galaxy or 'Claw' in a Hong Kong superhero sequel you've probably never heard of, we're still popping whenever a WWE favorite makes an appearance on the silver screen.

Check out these 10 wrestlers who landed roles in superhero movies in the gallery below.
