While she’s currently off WWE television, Becky Lynch is keeping busy outside the ring. Lynch has been announced as the special guest monologist for The Ultimate Improv Show on April 11, 2025, giving fans a chance to see her flex her comedic chops live on stage.

The show made the announcement via its official Instagram account, and it marks one of Lynch’s first public appearances since stepping away from WWE programming. Other notable stars appearing as part of the improv show are SNL alum Bobby Moynihan and comedian Paul Scheer.

Lynch’s absence from WWE dates back to May 2024, when she dropped the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground to rising star Roxanne Perez. After the loss, Lynch was written off TV, with reports at the time indicating she was taking time off to focus on outside projects, including acting roles in Hollywood. So far, Lynch has kept relatively low-key, but this improv gig offers fans a rare glimpse at what she’s been up to.

Despite her break from the ring, Lynch remains under contract with WWE. In a recent interview with Front Office Sports, her husband, Seth Rollins, hinted that her return is still very much on the table, saying:

"I don’t think we’ve seen the last of her in a WWE ring, but when the timing is right, she’ll be back."

No word yet on when exactly that will be, but for now, fans in the Los Angeles area can catch Lynch in a whole new environment, trading suplexes for punchlines.

You can livestream the event. Tickets available at Dynasty Typewriter.
