It looks like the WWE tenure of global music superstar Bad Bunny may not be over just yet. According to his friend and top WWE superstar Damian Priest, the multi-platinum artist still has the desire to step back inside a WWE ring.

In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, the former World Heavyweight Champion gave an exciting update for WWE fans hoping to see Benito back in action.

The Only Obstacle is Scheduling

Damian Priest made it clear that Bad Bunny‘s love for the business has not faded since his critically acclaimed San Juan Street Fight against Priest at Backlash in 2023. The superstar praised Bad Bunny‘s previous performances and dedication to the craft.

“What he’s done, it speaks for itself, the performances, the showmanship, he basically is a WWE Superstar,” Priest said. “Especially in this business, never say never.”

The primary issue preventing an immediate return is simply Bad Bunny‘s incredibly busy schedule as one of the biggest entertainers in the world. “I’ve talked to him about it, and it’s just scheduling, because obviously he has a lot going on,” Priest explained. “But he still has that itch, he loves our business. He’s had more than enough time to recover since our match, so he’s ready to come.”

From The Ring To The Super Bowl Stage

That packed schedule includes a stop in New York City this weekend, where Bad Bunny is set to host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live tomorrow night. It also includes one of the biggest gigs on the planet, as Bad Bunny was recently named the official halftime performer for the 2026 Super Bowl. When asked about his friend’s massive opportunity, Priest was nothing but supportive and even joked about joining him on stage.

“If you need me to learn some dance moves and break it down,” Priest said, “I can figure it out!”

While Bad Bunny is focused on his major television and music commitments, it seems the door for a future WWE appearance remains wide open. Based on the words of his friend, it is not a matter of if, but when his schedule allows for another memorable run.
